Palombara - Tenute Rubino
A Journey of Taste and Sensation
The first sip surprises—a crisp, vibrant entrance that playfully defies expectation. "It’s a Primitivo," you read aloud, eyes still tracing the curves of the label’s art. What follows is a sensory descent: the palate is pulled into a juicy trail, where freshness meets fine smoothness, a lively texture, and finally—a triumphant return of fruit, crashing into layers of cloaked, savory depth.
Made from 100% Primitivo grapes, this wine is aged 16 months in stainless steel, followed by 6 months in bottle, preserving purity while gaining subtle maturity.
Best enjoyed with laughter and discovery—pair it with traditional Apulian panzerotti, then move to a rustic dish of cranu stumpato with tomatoes, basil, and ricotta marzotica, before finishing with tender goat and lampascioni.
Serving temperature: 15–18°C.
A wine that seduces the curious and rewards the bold.
